Daoud

After several years of touring the international stages and radio and TV sets as a sideman (Montreal Jazz Festival, Stagecoach, Fillmore West, Conan, KEXP etc.) the Franco-Moroccan trumpeter daoud returns to France to carry out his own project. . Several collaborations with different artists such as NoJazz, Kacem Wapalek, Pokey Lafarge, Slim Paul and Tonina have built his musical universe. An energetic quintet with Hip-hop R'n'B and Jazz influences, the trumpeter was inspired by artists such as Theo Croker, Christian Scott or Keyon Harrold. daoud has surrounded himself with rising stars of the French scene in order to present original compositions and instrumental covers in their best light. Winner of the 2022 Jazz ConneXion springboard, the group has already performed at the Jazz Au Phare Festival as well as other Jazz and Contemporary Music festivals and will soon be entering the studio with Cristal Productions. Daoud is an artist Dimitri Donat for the mouthpieces, Mandala Trumpet for his trumpet and KGU Music for the accessories. He recently worked with Red Bull Music.
