Liz Rosa Project

After filling the biggest venues in Brazil, Liz Rosa, a Brazilian jazz singer based in New York, began an international career in 2013, and settled permanently in the United States where she permeated New York clubs with her Brazilian jazz (Jazz Forum, Zinc, The Django, Birdland…). However, she remains very connected to Brazil, being the resident artist at the Blue Note Rio club for Bossa Nova nights.

From his collaborations with Brazilian artists João Bosco, João Donato and Roberto Menescal, or American artists like Misha Piatigorsky, unique music of its kind was born. Drawing many of her influences from her native country, Liz Rosa makes a musical proposal tinged with bossa nova, while using her powerful and captivating voice, as one of the worthy heirs of the great jazz singers like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald or Sarah Vaughan.
