Nathan Mollet Piano Solo

The hours spent exploring, playing, and "sculpting musical material" with patience and wonder have given rise to a collection of compositions that he hopes will touch the listener's heart. Drawing inspiration from renowned jazz musicians such as Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, Hank Jones, and more contemporary artists like Pat Metheny, Avishai Cohen, Ben Wendel, Tigran, Pedro Martins, he developed his sensitivity and musical universe through his piano practice.

As a child, he would create short improvisations and then increasingly longer loops, always with the joy of sharing, the desire to surprise the listener, and to surprise himself as well. The wide range of the piano's nuances allows him to convey a broad spectrum of emotions with ever-growing enthusiasm and creativity.

He quickly integrated influences from pop, electronic, folk, and alternative music into this solo project, drawing from artists such as The Beatles, Nick Drake, Radiohead, Saya Gray, Sampha, and Louis Cole. Several guest artists (singers, guitarists, double bassists...) will join him throughout the concerts in this residency.



Determined to support emerging artists, our Club offers a series of bi-monthly residencies (one concert every two months) that allow them to present and develop a creative project in an environment conducive to artistic creation. This includes access to our venue's equipment, such as video and audio recording, lighting and sound work, and use of the venue with a sound engineer once a month during the day.

For the 2024-2025 season, we have chosen JULIA RICHARD, a singer, bassist, double bassist, composer, and lyricist, and NATHAN MOLLET, a pianist, keyboardist, and composer.
