Laurent Coq Trio

For many years, Ralph Lavital and Laurent Coq have produced music that is both personal and familiar through several records. With BWA, their latest delivery, they share the leadership in their own right, by signing a collection of original compositions and texts that put the voice in the spotlight. That of Nicolas Pélage, their faithful collaborator, and that of Ralph Lavital who since Carnival has asserted himself again. These two young musicians of Caribbean origin were a fertile source of inspiration for the development of an entirely new repertoire where New York and Caribbean influences mingle. The group has already performed extensively in Africa, the Indian Ocean and the United States. Laurent Coq is definitely a very creative musician.
