Nice Jazz Festival - Scène Massena

Come and groove to the sounds of the Nice Jazz Festival which will be taking place from Saturday the 16th until Wednesday the 20th of July 2016 ! The Nice Jazz Festival reflects the jazz of today and tomorrow through a lineup which opens its arms to a new generation. This year, there are 5 consecutive days with 31 concerts, 6 groups per nights in 2 simultaneous scenes and a free gospel concert in Massena Sunday morning. For this new edition, the fabulous Melody Gardot is the godmother of the Nice Jazz Festival and the ambassador of a great program and we will see the world’s biggest stars such as Robert Plant, Youssou Ndour, Massive attack, Parov Stelar and also Ibrahim Maalouf, Snarky Puppy, Brigitte, Avishai Cohen, Deluxe… In 2016, the Nice Jazz Festival is doing a tribute to David Bowie, singer and composer by giving the name of one of his greatest albums for each evening: Changes, Let’s Dance, Space Oddity, Blackstar, and Heroes. Themes that mirror the career of this talented artist. The Nice Jazz Festival is the alliance between glamour and friendly atmosphere, an ideal cocktail thanks to a quality programming and a special welcome addressed to each spectator with affordable prices from 29 Euros for 6 concerts on 2 simultaneous scenes.
