Yara Lapidus

The starting point was the timbre of Yara’s voice for which Gabriel Yared ( Oscar winning composer for the English patient and many other scores ) composed these melodies. From there, her words came naturally and a general theme emerged : Love , explored from a different angle for every song. The album « Indéfiniment » was born, from a shared passion for simple and timeless songs. Recorded at Abbey Road studios, it delivers eleven unique songs, as unconventional as their composer and the deep sensibility in Yara Lapidus’ instantly recognisable voice. Yara returns to the Sunset to celebrate the release of the new edition of the album "Indéfiniment" with, as a bonus, a duet with Iggy Pop, another with Chico César and a collaboration with Adnan Joubran (Trio Joubran).
