Young singer Cyrille Aimée can already boast about a remarkable career. She was born in France but now lives in New Orleans and she has performed in the most prestigious jazz festivals in the world. She won the international vocal jazz contest at the Montreux Festival as well as Sarah Vaughan’s international competition. The New York Times dubbed her “a rising star in the galaxy of jazz singers.” That’s right! With her bright new album “Move On: A Sondheim Adventure”, released in February 2019, she goes on a song adventure  with Broadway legend Stephen Sondheim who, during a tribute concert at the New York City Center, gave Cyrille Aimée the most unforgettable compliment: “You brought me to tears.” Her flamboyant relevance, her luminous freshness, her insight into repertoires that aren’t necessarily hers and the elegance, verve and ease with which she scats  make Cyrille Aimée a unique singer. A major and captivating artist  who will celebrate the festival’s return in the legendary Cristal salon of the Hôtel Lutetia.
