In her new album, Peg Carrothers once again demonstrates the excellence and sweetness of her voice. Peg Carrothers is not a singer. She is a librarian, mother, wife of. And yet, she has been singing forever. As a young girl, she skims clubs in her hometown of Minneapolis with local musicians whose names have not yet crossed the Atlantic: Jay Epstein, Chris Bates, Adam Linz, Dean Magraw and the man who will become her husband, Bill Carrothers. She participates to Bill's projects, Armistice 1918, Playday, Sunday Morning, and Cellist Matt Turner's Voices that are Gone. Her new album, Beyond the Blue Horizon, allows her to enjoy Peg Carrothers' voice, caressing, simple and fresh. She is involved with Bill, Armistice 1918, Playday, Sunday Morning, and Matt Cellist's Voices that are Gone. Turner.
