Hommage à Charles Mingus

After recording two albums inspired by the music of Charles Mingus: "Mingus Spirit" and "Fables Of Mingus", bassist Jacques Vidal is preparing to record a third disc around themes of the inevitable double bassist and American composer. This thematic concert will be an opportunity to dive into this fabulous music where Jacques Vidal will be surrounded by Pierrick Pédron, Daniel Zimmermann, Xavier Desandre Navarre and singer Isabelle Carpentier while Lionel Eskenazi will tell you about the tumultuous and exciting life of this giant of jazz.
