Laurent Maur Quartet "Chef Larry"

The harmonica is a very rare instrument in jazz, it remains nonetheless one of the most expressive and emotionally powerful. Laurent Maur is one of the most accomplished and respected representatives today. Combining an instrumental technique rarely reached on his instrument to a pure and crystalline sound that carries and dreams, he invites us to (re) discover this instrument through a repertoire in tribute to his friend Larry Smith Chef of Chicago (1962/2016 ) composed of arrangements of Songs or jazz of the French repertoire as well as compositions with a small detour in Brazil (Jobim) and in the USA (Larry Goldings, Donald Harrisson)
