Nice Jazz Festival - Théâtre de Verdure

Come and enjoy the sounds of the Nice Jazz Festival from July 16 to 20, 2016! The Nice Jazz Festival, reflects this jazz of today and tomorrow through an eclectic programming that opens its arms to the new generation. This year, there will be 5 consecutive evenings with 31 concerts, 6 sets per evening on 2 simultaneous stages and a free gospel concert (subject to availability of space) on the Masséna stage on Sunday morning. For this new edition, the fabulous Mélody Gardot, sponsor of the Nice Jazz Festival, is the ambassador of a high-flying poster with planetary stars like Robert Plant, Youssou Ndour, Massive Attack, Parov Stelar but also Ibrahim Maalouf, Snarky Puppy, Brigitte, Avishai Cohen, Deluxe and many others…

This year, the Nice Jazz Festival pays tribute to singer and composer David Bowie by naming one of his flagship albums for each of the evenings: Changes, Let’s Dance, Space Oddity, Blackstar and Heroes. So many themes that echo the career of this exceptional artist. The Nice Jazz Festival is the combination of glamour and a warm atmosphere, a successful cocktail with quality programming and a special welcome reserved for each spectator with pricing accessible to the largest number from 29 euros to enjoy 6 concerts each evening on 2 simultaneous stages.
