JAZZY THURSDAY TO LES DEUX MAGOTS

Each Thursday, from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm, everyone can enjoy a drink or have dinner while listening to talented musicians.



Inside the Mythic Room where Boris Vian used to sit with his trumpet and talk with Jean-Paul Sartre, the musicians play great standard jazz pieces on the double bass, saxophone, guitar and piano… from Billie Holiday to Louis Armstrong via Nancy Wilson, Ella Fitzgerald or Sarah Vaughan… but also creations.

The purpose of jazz nights is to meet, be in the atmosphere of the golden age of black and white cinema… or to relive the post-war period at Les Deux Magots; the epicentre of cultural and intellectual Parisian life. With Jazzy Thursday, the time seems to have stopped…

It's up to Lionel Boccara, a jazzman with a rich musical career, to schedule this weekly rendez-vous at Les Deux Magots. "I like to play as well as to make the family of musicians play.
