Max Cilla "Jazz Racines Des Mornes " Quartet

This concert is an invitation to a journey evoking the musical nights of the Creole huts of Les Mornes (the heights of the Antilles) around Tambour-Bèlè and Ti-Bwa, echoing the sounds and charms of tropical forests. Through Max Cilla's flute we find the world of musical improvisation belonging to the oral tradition of Les Mornes, enriched - by the presence of congas - with Latin-Jazz influences from Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican music, major aspects of Caribbean music.
