Jam Session Special Quincy Jones - #FestivalEstivalDeJam #16
As part of the festival: FESTIVAL ESTIVAL DE JAM #16

Quincy Jones: American jazz legend, multifaceted artist, Quincy Jones, “Q” is an American trumpeter, arranger and composer with more than 28 Grammy Awards to his name.

At the Baiser Salé we've known François Constantin and his jams for thirty years, so you might as well say that he invited the whole French jazz scene to perform alongside him! For this jam, Fabrice Devienne, pianist and composer with varied horizons and influences, he multiplied the projects of the trio to the big band, from the biggest jazz festivals, to the stages of the theater, also passing by the cinema; Thierry Fanfant, a rich, open and generous musicality, probably due to his Caribbean roots and an indisputable artistic lineage! From Papa Wemba to Angélique Kidjo, from Lokua Kanza to Carlos Santana, Thierry Fanfant has accompanied, supported and guided artists from all walks of life with irreproachable rigor and constant enthusiasm. His latest album 6.4 is a little gem from afar: fusion of the inspiration drawn from his travels, his encounters and his experiences in an astonishing mixture of wisdom, depth and hope! With more than 800 recordings, he could almost enter the Guinness Book of Records! and Francis Arnaud, the quiet force, fine game, inventive drummer, he has distinguished himself in different styles since the end of the 80s: jazz, salsa, Latin jazz, Brazilian music, Big Band, music from North Africa and West Africa..., he was Charles Aznavour's drummer and is currently on tour with Christopher Cross.

At the Baiser Salé, we take advantage of the summer to spend unique musical evenings at the Festival Estival de Jam. For a month and a half, from July 22 to September 11, 150 musicians will parade: from the youngest to the most experienced! You will have the opportunity to be amazed by a young 15-year-old American drummer, by artists on the rise or musicians who are already benchmarks. The themes are catchy and will appeal to as many people as possible: you don't need to be a musician to come and enjoy the special energy of these open stages. It is in these moments that we witness fleeting musical emotions and unpredictable encounters. After an hour of concert, which weighs the basics and sets the tone, it's time for the JAM!! #FREEENTRY
