Robin Nicaise "Building & Piano Studies"

Robin Nicaise celebrates the release of his 5th lead disc: Building / Piano Studies (co-production Clapson Records) ambitious and personal disc built in two parts; a first, the “Building” suite, a veritable concerto for tenor sax in which the latter dialogues with a jazz quartet and a string quartet. A second part then, even more unexpected, in which Robin gives us his studies for solo piano which he himself composed and recorded. he will be accompanied by his usual partners: Sandro Zerafa (guitar), Clément Simon (piano / Fender Rhodes), Yoni Zelnik (double bass) and Fred Pasqua (drums) + string quartet: Youri Bessières (first violin); Fanny Lévèque (second violin), Alain Martinez (viola) and Consuelo Uribe (cello). Such a formula reveals his rare qualities as a composer and arranger, a refined and stimulating setting for high-class soloists.
