Jam Session Tribute To Cole Porter

American composer and lyricist Cole Porter brought an international impetus to the American musical. He made his Broadway debut with the unsuccessful musical See America First. He served in the French Foreign Legion at the end of World War I and married a wealthy American woman, Linda Lee Thomas, in Paris while living the life of a playboy. Back on Broadway in 1928, Cole Porter was launched! He presented his first triumph, the musical "Paris".
