Valentine's Day is not your thing? Did your boyfriend run off with a fireman? Was it just you, pizza and Netflix on Valentine's Day? If you like jazz and need to commiserate, we've got just the thing for you!
Come celebrate your "Anti-Valentine's Day" with award-winning Anglo-Australian singer Hetty Kate (vocals) and incredible musicians Sébastien Giniaux (guitar) and Damien Varaillon (bass). They will play their favourite songs from the Great American Songbook on the theme of heartbreak, jealousy, infidelity, murder and sadness. There will be no roses in sight!
"Truly one of the best swing singers on the scene today." Will Friedwald, jazz critic (Wall Street Journal) and author.
Born in England, raised in Australia and now based in Paris, acclaimed singer Hetty Kate has been touring internationally for over a decade, releasing nine albums and performing at festivals from New York to New Zealand. Sébastien Giniaux and Damien Varaillon are both respected musicians on the French jazz scene, and internationally! This will be a warm and fun evening of classic and unusual songs from the jazz repertoire.
