Today, Alex Swing Events presents Julien Coriatt and his Brand New Quintet: Amina Mezaache on flute, Damian Nueva on double bass, Sonny Troupé on Gwo Ka and Antoine Paganotti on drums.

Pianist and improviser-composer, jazz, baroque and classical music as well as popular West Indian music rocked Julien Coriatt's childhood in Guadeloupe. Since then, he has never stopped going back to basics, refining his choices and above all trying to quench his thirst for knowledge.

The music of the Julien Coriatt Brand New Quintet celebrates life. At the meeting between jazz and Caribbean music, it questions the roots, summons the memory, affirms and defends values ​​too.
