Renaud Palisseaux Quartet

With a dynamic and playful temperament, the jazz of Renaud Palisseaux did not resist the festive and captivating rhythms of Afro-Cuban music for long. In the alcove of a high quality discography, one can appreciate both his talents as performer and composer, where melody, energy and inventiveness are exploited. After a solid musical training in jazz at the American School of Paris, Manhattan School of New York, Bill Evans Academy Paris and in Afro-Cuban music at the National School of Arts in Havana, Renaud Palisseaux climbed the European scene and international alongside Orlando Poleo, Georges Paczynski, Felipe Cabrera, Chico and the Gipsy. The “Palisso Quartet” is also a crazy team: pianist Renaud Palisseaux, outstanding trumpeter Sylvain Gontard, drummer Christophe Bras and expert in Afro-Cuban jazz double bassist Juan-Sebastien Jimenez.
