Monika Kabasele Invite Hugo Corbin

Young Greek-Congolese singer, Monika Kabasele presents a project with a multicultural sound. The repertoire is a mix between the Greek tradition and the Congolese tradition which merges with jazz. The goal is to develop an artistic personality that presents itself to the future and enters into dialogue with new technologies and jazz, with an open mind to mixed-race music and new identities. Traditional songs are interpreted in a contemporary way, combined with the electric sound of guitar or voice using effects, with the acoustic sound of percussion. The repertoire is completed with original compositions by Monika and Hugo. A colorful evening!
