The most vital percussionist of his generation never ceases to draw on his origins to confront them with other genres and obtain surprising results. Since his very first album and his discovery of spoken word, a committed poetic movement in New York at the end of the sixties at the origin of slam, Minino Garay has naturally combined it with his influences imbued with the spirit of tango. A style that has become a signature that he has since embodied on stage and in his albums. Minino Garay will release on March 11, 2022 a first album devoted entirely to Speaking Tango. In this mixture of declamation, tango and jazz, Minino Garay takes the words out of their usual context and highlights them in a new way.
