Cathy Escoffier

With his last project " Serket & The Cicadas " Cathy and his " parity " 4TET transgress the beaten tracks of jazz. It mixes acoustic instruments with electronics, the sensuality of Jazz with the raw energy of rock. The 4TET creates a cinematographic and lyrical universe which draws from Wayne Shorter, Robert Glasper, as much as Björk, Radiohead or King Crimson. Serket is a benevolent and warlike deity.
