Maxime Boyer Trio

The music of guitarist and composer Maxime Boyer, proposes to explore the mystical side of sound by mixing simple melodies with a limitless exploration of musical textures. Accompanied by bassist Nicolas Fleury and drummer Killian Rebreyend, he leads us to discover the power of music to redefine time and space.

The trio draws its inspiration from artists such as guitarists Gilad Hekselman and Lage Lund or saxophonist Immanuel Wilkins' quartet, to create a jazz sound typical of the current New York scene.

On stage, Maxime Boyer's compositions take the form of a suite comprising several movements that the interactions between the members of the trio allow to put in tension and in body.

Created in 2012, the #JazzDeDemain program has given birth to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, allowing young artists to experiment on stage, to develop a repertoire, while presenting it to the public.
