Antoine Laudière Trio

With a solid experience as an arranger and also as a sideman for many bands, it was time for the guitarist to take the step of composing. It is thus in a guitar-bass-drums trio that he chooses to propose his original repertoire, inspired by the music and playing of New York-based musicians such as Gilad Hekselman, Ben Wendel or Bill Frisell, but also by the numerous collaborations with the musicians he has worked with over the past few years.

Within the trio, there is a desire to place melody at the heart of the compositions without ever turning away from it. This is not a "power trio" but rather the creation of a real musical alchemy between the three musicians, where the roles are never definied.

Created in 2012, the #JazzFromTomorrow slot has given rise to a series of monthly and bimonthly residencies, allowing young artists to experiment on stage, to hone a repertoire, while presenting it to the public.
