Leeway Vincent Payen

Leeway Vincent Payen is a Soul-Jazz band composed of six musicians, founded in 2012. Vincent Payen, trumpeter-composer-arranger is at the initiative of this project. This multi-faceted group is regularly programmed in the most important places of the Parisian jazz scene such as the Duc des Lombards, the Sunset but also in the framework of cultural programs and festivals in all France. 
With three albums (On the road to Lee Morgan-2012, Find my way-2015 and A new chapter-2019), Leeway is broadcasted daily on the radio: Tsf Jazz, Jazz Radio, France Musique, etc.
Leeway is very regularly invited by conservatories to propose pedagogical days (master classes) followed by concerts. Vincent Payen is also a trumpet teacher: links are woven between the artistic and the educational.
The group welcomes in 2022 the singer Sarah Koper and prepares the new album Free planned for December 2022.
