Olga Amelchenko Helicon

Since 2014 Olga Amelchenko has been an active player of the vibrant Berlin jazz scene. Now living between Paris and Berlin, she puts together a brand new band, Helicon, with some of the best musicians of the Paris scene: Charlotte Wassy, Enzo Carniel, Viktor Nyberg and Nicolas Charlier. Drawing inspiration from their different musical backgrounds, they create a common language, where contemporary jazz blends with elements of classical and folk music. Always in motions, both rebellious and vulnerable, their music is built on interactions which always keep tension, ask questions, and proposes a musical journey full of beautiful encounters.
