Meddy Gerville Trio

Long absent from the Parisian scene, Meddy Gerville's return will be marked by the presentation of "Mon Maloya" as well as the key titles of his repertoire.

"Mon Maloya" is the artist's 10th album and is the result of many years of musical reflection. It is the very essence of the "maloya jazz" genre of which Meddy Gerville is the precursor and main ambassador. It is a jazz marked by the strong characteristics of Maloya, a ternary rhythm typical of the Indian Ocean, recognised as a heritage of humanity.

For the occasion the pianist is surrounded by two talents from Reunion. Emmanuel Félicité on drums and Johan Saartave on bass.
