Gary Brunton's "Bendigedig Project"

“Bendigedig” is a Welsh word meaning “Wonderful”. And Bendigedig is also the meeting of the British double bass player Gary Brunton with the French saxophonist François Jeanneau! Indeed in 2019 François Jeanneau (a key figure in French Jazz for 60 years, and first director of the National Jazz Orchestra), was the musical director of Gary's album, "Night Bus" (with Bojan Z and Simon Goubert). This great experience prompted Gary to create a new project in parallel, and to write tailor-made compositions for François' soprano saxophone.
