Oni Giri

The Marseille quintet Oni Giri will present songs from their first album Vertige as well as a repertoire of new compositions.

Brought to Marseille by the chance of an "Oni Girique" wind, these five musicians from Marseille, originally or by adoption, have gathered in 2019 around the original repertoire of pianist Rémi Denis. Accompanied by the rhythm section David Carniel / Damien Boutonnet, the virtuoso and velvety trumpet of Christophe Leloil confronts the organic breath of the Franco-Japanese saxophonist Sai Nagoya. The result is a resolutely multicultural jazz, at the crossroads of continents.
