In the Manding languages of West Africa, Balimaya means "kinship", "brotherhood". The group feeds on Mandenka dance rhythms, a source of inspiration to create a music where voices intertwine. The compositions are thought as games, varying grooves, colors and dynamics, opening the way to improvisation
