Acoustic Standards is a trio that sails between the swing standards of the great orchestras of the 30s, the vocal jazz of Sinatra and Mel Tormé, and the beginning of the bebop era. Romain Vuillemin's electric guitar, sometimes in the swing style of Django Reinhardt, sometimes in the more bebop style of Wes Montgommery, is supported by a rhythm section that is both solid and airy, where Édouard Pennes on double bass and David Paycha share the responsibility of keeping the swing nervous and efficient. But the band has a secret weapon! The drummer David Paycha is also a brilliant pianist, which will give a second face to the trio, allowing to take the listener in an atmosphere closer to the one of the famous Nat King Cole's trio or even the great Fats Waller. The guitar will no longer be electric but acoustic this time to take the place left by the drums. Some standards sung by the guitarist will link the whole for a versatile tribute to jazz from 1930 to 1950.

Romain Vuillemin: guitar
Édouard Pennes: double bass
David Paycha: drums
