Yannick Benoit Quartet
Jazz
Inspired by exploratory musicians such as Pharoah Sanders, Yusef Lateef, Eddie Harris and Jd Allen, the music of the Yannick Benoit Quartet is resolutely Jazz, combining composition and freedom of expression.
The use of ethnic instruments such as the didgeridoo, the Jew's harp, and Mongolian diphonic singing enriches the sound palette and carries the audience into a subtle universe of sound vibration. The Yannick Benoit Quartet is composed of Jean Baptiste Loutte on drums, Tom Guillois on double bass, and Sylvain le Ray on piano. All talented musicians active on the Parisian scene.
