Speleo

Speleo, a quartet created by pianist and composer Victor Desveaux Toutain, represents a musical mix between European and Nordic jazz, with a romantic influence. A great deal of work is done on the sound to produce a special group atmosphere. Speleo won the second prize in the Léopold Bellan international competition in 2016, and was a finalist in the Saint Germain des Prés jazz competition in 2017. Speleo was also awarded second prize for group, first prize for composition and second prize for soloist at the 2019 Sunside trophies.
