Nicolas Chalopin 5Tet "Sketchbook"

A moment to discover " Sketchbook " the new project in 5tet of the pianist Nicolas Chalopin. 
These last years, he participates in various festivals and performs in Parisian jazz clubs with his own trio, as well as in formations with various aesthetics (NC Latin 5tet, Séis por Ocho or Larry Crockett & the Funky Cherokees....). At the same time, he devotes himself to composition and to the work of music for the image.
Through a repertory mixing personal compositions and standards, these five musicians will leave the beautiful part to the improvisation, with humour and complicity.
An intoxicating journey in a musical universe where modern jazz and traditional jazz subtly intersect...
