Neil Saidi and Noé Codjia became friends while studying music in New York. Back in France in 2016, they founded the Zoot Collectif with some of the best musicians of the Parisian jazz scene. Their credo: to give pride of place to tradition with a totally uninhibited freshness! The two accomplices present us tonight their new formation. Surrounded by a top of the line rhythm section, they will plunge us into the repertoire of the quintets that have marked the history of bop and hard bop and will play some of their compositions.
