Samuel Bonnet Trio - Hybride

Guitarist Samuel Bonnet has always felt "in between". Born in Israel and raised in France, it is Montreal that has allowed him to fully affirm his multiple identities and his hybrid artistic color.

His musical inspiration has always evolved through the crossing of various styles. HYBRIDE is the result of an introspection lived during the pandemic and is the realization of an old dream: to merge the worlds of classical guitar and jazz. 

Berlioz said of the guitar that it is a "real little orchestra" and Samuel has understood this well by creating arrangements where all his influences are mixed with ingenuity. Thus, a jazz standard is tinged with a bewitching North African rhythm, a famous work for classical guitar is revisited in a delicate jazz waltz, and a Jewish festive piece is transformed into a surprisingly intimate piece.
In his 5th album, HYBRIDE, Samuel tells us his personal story through 7 pieces that form his musical puzzle. A space where sound exploration reveals its infinite possibilities.
