Olivier Roch Quintet

This quintet is the new project of clarinettist and composer Olivier Roch, who is also frontman of the group Nocuts. With influences ranging from John Coltrane to Tigran Hamasyan, Avishaï Cohen and Debussy, Olivier Roch's music offers a subtle combination of lyricism and rhythmic complexity. The two-blower quintet format allows the contrasts and energy of this music to be expressed to the full, served by four excellent Parisian jazz(wo)men, members of the Pousse Production collective.
