Talin Maas

Talin Maas is a young Armenian-German singer-songwriter currently living in Marseille where she is preparing her first EP that will be released in 2023. Her songs are somewhere in between neo soul and jazz of today, inspired by artists like Hiatus Kaiyote, Cleo Sol, Theo Croker, Tank And The Bangas as well as the new UK jazz scene including musicians like Yazmin Lacey, Ego Ella May, Sophie Faith and Yussef Kaamal. Fascinated by human relationships of all sorts, she writes about the things she observes around her and inside of her. Alternating between intimate songs and communicative energy, she is accompanied by young musicians of the Marseille jazz scene: Benoît Moreau on guitar, Jérémi Martinez on drums, Marine Garcia on keys and Paul Philibert on bass. After touring in the south region and playing as opening act for famous trumpet player Ibrahim Maalouf last December, Talin and her live band will play their songs for the first time in Paris at the Sunset Sunside Jazz Club.
