Christophe Wallemme Trio

Co-founder of the trio Prysm (5 albums on the Blue Note label), Christophe Wallemme has since released four other albums (Time zone, Namaste, So Many Ways, Ôm Project) as leader. At the same time, the double bassist remains a sought-after sideman who has played with David Linx, Pablo Fresu, André Ceccarelli, Ibrahim Maalouf, Eric Séva, Sylvain Beuf…

Tonight he offers us a new trio project around original compositions and covers borrowed from jazz, pop and folk repertoires (Radio Head, Jony Mitchell, Brad Meldhau...). Unquestionably, Christophe Wallemme's music makes us travel through many lands. He takes us on a journey and without really forcing our hand, he leads us to the liking of the meetings and the time zones. He shares this warm moment on stage with his son Jules Wallemme, a young talented drummer, as well as his long-time accomplice, one of the greatest European guitarists, Manu Codjia (Erik Truffaz, Henri Texier, Michel Portal, Aldo Romano, Tony Malaby...).

An outstanding singer and soloist, active on the Parisian scene, Malou Oheix is invited by the bassist's trio to complete this formation with this very promising young musician!
