Every Sunday and Monday, la Rhumerie brings you together for a jazz evening that revives the tradition of St Germain des prés during the fifties, and offers a selection of rums and West Indian cuisine (surcharge + € 1 per order on concert days)

Franco-Mexican, Julia Richard's universe is defined by an intelligent mix of Latin music, jazz influences such as Esperanza Spalding, Veronica Swift, Paul Chambers, Monk, a pop universe where she borrows as well from Supertramp, to Sting than to Stevie Wonder.

In the past, French song has also inspired her travels (Edith Piaf, Serge Gainsbourg, Barbara) as well as rock (Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd) and it was with an old band that she was able to play at La Boule Noire, or at the Reservoir in Paris.

It is therefore through all these influences that she maintains today an almost indefinable style whose binder is her voice.
