Joachim Govin Tree Trio

Joachim Govin's trio 'Tree' was formed in 2018 on the occasion of an impromptu copper. The group did not rehearse and chose, at the initiative of its leader Govin, to play only jazz standards known by heart by the three members. The alchemy was immediate and the trio played many concerts on this model. A taste for melody, swing, jazz tradition, interaction and a common love for Lee Konitz and Lennie Tristano make this tree-o a particularly tight and cohesive ensemble. 
The album Tree received the "SHOCK" award from Jazz Magazine and the "MUST HAVE" award from Jazz News.
