Selil

From Lyon jazz scene, SELIL explores various kind of fusions between jazz and underground musical stuff. Their music is a mix of various influences such as jazz (inspired by the 60’s and 70’s), hip-hop, house music, afrobeat or dub. A fusion which typically occurs on UK jazz scene of the last decade: a huge reference for the band. After 2 EP released and about 30 gigs, including the first part of Alfa Mist or Emile Londonien, SELIL is taking part in the increasing dynamic of this French new jazz scene, represented by Léon Phal, Gin Tonic Orchestra, Emile Londonien etc.
