Max Cilla "Jazz Roots Of The Mornes" Quartet

Max Cilla proposes a convivial evening in the style of the Nuits Musicales des Cases Créoles practiced in the Mornes (the heights of the West Indies) around the Tambou-di-Bass, the Tambou-Ka, the timbales, the ti-Bwa and the Congas; an evening that echoes the sonorities, the charms of the tropical forests and the transcendence of the West Indian people.
Through the Flute of Max Cilla, we find the world of musical improvisation belonging to the oral tradition of the Mornes, enriched with the influences of Latin-Jazz, a high expression of Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican music, major aspects of Caribbean music.
