Peala & Verioca Quartet

This first album brings together Thierry Peala and Verioca Lherm around the music of composer-pianist-singer, Tania Maria. The Duo were keen to share their passion for this icon of Brazilian jazz, who has already applauded their rendering of her compositions. For this « unique » evening they decided to have an augmented version and share the stage with percussionist Julio Goncalves, a fellow traveller of Tania’s for over 20 years, and the stellar flute player Amina Mezaache ! Thierry is a recognised vocalist in the world of contemporary jazz (Norma Winstone, Kenny Wheeler, Bruno Angelini, Riccardo del Fra, Francesco Bearzatti, Moutin Brothers, Edouard Ferlet) and Verioca is one of the most appreciated French artists in the universe of Brazilian popular music.
