La Mécanique Des Songes

Alba Obert, Malou Oheix, Mathilde Gardien. Three voices, a violin and a mandolin: this is the challenge taken up by these three musicians to compose a program drawing on impressionist currents, jazz and American folk. With "La Mécanique des Songes", you'll hear original compositions, skilfully rearranged pieces by Debussy or Satie, as well as musical settings of poems by Verlaine or Patti Smith. All these pieces will be interspersed with moments of improvisation highlighting the musical personalities of these three artists. A poetic, sophisticated project whose repertoire will seek, as in the days of "Third Stream", a link between different musical and artistic currents.
