Jam Session - Tribute To Nina Simone

With an infectious, universal energy, Caloé sings jazz, improvises, interprets music from different cultures and writes music and words. She studies scat with precision and technique, mastering it in her own way. Always surrounded by excellent musicians, one Sunday a month she hosts a jam aimed at young talent!
For this jam, Caloé pays tribute to Nina Simone, one of the greatest jazz singers of all time and an emblematic figure of vocal jazz. Her original style is known for its fusion of gospel and pop songs with classical music. Nina Simone is a great source of inspiration for today's musicians, and for us!

Since 2018, the singer has been plying the Baiser Salé stage for summer jams and to host the Sunday jams once a month, evenings geared towards young talent. A one-hour concert that sets the tone, then it's time for the JAM!
