Jam Session - Wayne Shorter Tribute

Living jazz legend, saxophonist Wayne Shorter invites us to Baiser Salé for a wild jam! From the hard-bop of the Jazz Messengers to his youthful quartet of the 2000s, from Miles Davis's "second quintet" to the synthetic, hybrid universe of Weather Report, Wayne Shorter has remained true to himself, constantly immersing himself in different contexts.

Originally from the Bordeaux region, Simon graduated from Pôle Supérieur de Paris in 2015. Sideman and leader he loves above all, the stage. In 2017 he released a debut album "Flying Wolf" with a good press presence. In March 2021, he is releasing a trio album "Light Blue" devoted to a repertoire of songs that has won unanimous acclaim in the profession.
If jazz is a way of living music in the moment, Simon Chivallon totally embodies it, and each solo demonstrates this in its spontaneity and directness. There's no room for pretence: what's played is what comes, a sensitivity that expresses itself, a talent that breathes and seeks to touch the listener.
