Djill Presents Ballads With Billie

For her 8th album, and after having evolved́ in zouk with the great West Indian diaspora (among others Kassav), singer Djill goes to meet a personality, a voice, an icon, the one who makes her life flash by through her catchy and bewitching interpretations, with a hint of positive drama, all the time on the edge: Billie Holiday.

Coming from a family of musicians, her taste for music is not insignificant, and it's quite naturally, and self-taught, that Djill learns to sing. She loves music with great voices, and immerses herself in it every day. She loves the deep emotions that music provokes, through the performer's voice and through the lyrics.
