Emergency Lane

EMERGENCY LANE is a jazz trio made up of three young musicians driven by the same desire to create a musical project in which to deploy their original compositions.
There's no leader here, just a trio with an astonishing synergy between its musicians and a great deal of melodic power in its compositions.
A piano, bass and drums format that may seem typically jazz, claiming the major influence of artists such as Esjborn Svensson Trio, Tigran Hamasyan and Avishai Cohen, but also claiming a great deal of freedom and openness to eclectic, contemporary musical worlds in their compositions. 
This blend of worlds, between the culture of the founding artists and the zeitgeist of today, inspires dynamic or spellbinding compositions, imbued with emotions and impressions, and designed to be shared with the widest possible audience in the melting pot that is jazz.
The EMERGENCY LANE trio won the Tremplin Jazz de Langourla in 2019 and has been programmed to open the Jazz in Langourla Festival in 2022. 
It also won a prize at the Tremplin Jeunes Talents at the Festival Jazz de Saint Germain in 2019.
