The trio, 1st Prix Action Jazz 2023, 1st Prix FIP 2023, Rezzo-Jazz à Vienne 2023 finalist and Jazz.à l'ECUJE 2023 finalist, present their debut album, Après la Lumière, to great critical acclaim!

We hear a subtle palette of sounds deployed as much by the keyboards and "classical" register of leader Bruno Rougevin-Baville, as by bassist Antoine Brunet's effects pedals, and drummer Félix Faviez's cleverly dosed accessories and rhythmic densitý. These elements contribute to the trio's alchemy to create a spirited music that transports into sultry atmospheres, which surprise and captivate.

Condensed of impressionist and more modern references (The Bad Plus, Pink Floyd, Nerve...), "Après la lumière" stands out for the power of its themes. Lapsus creates alchemy in chaos and offers a highly accomplished debut album with an aftertaste of fusion and progressive rock, sometimes explosive, sometimes poetic.
